38 SPECIAL : Live at Rockpalast 1981(2022)

Rockpalast! How many of us waited in front of our black and white screen during the time of this cult show! I personally
remember Lynyrd, Rory, J Geils who forever marked the sadness of our PAF (The name of the French broadcasting,
Translator's note) at the time! 38 Special, therefore, will perform on August 29, 1981, after having returned to the road to
promote their album Wild Eyed Southern Boyz… A little controversial by the southern rock public for his turn to FM, all the
band's hits will be played : “Rocking into the nignt”, the aforementioned title, “Hold on losely” (huge in the MTV charts),
“Stone cold believer”, and will offer a CCR cover as an encore, “Fortunate son”. At a time when many old fans are still
wondering whether this group which has sold millions of records, received gold and platinum albums, is a rock, southern
rock, FM rock group..., it is clear that their stage performances are impeccable and, if they do not provide an answer, offer
immense pleasure.
